D.ai.ly keeps everything on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your schedule, and we cannot see your calendar.
The two builds are not at the same stage, and this policy would be misleading if it described them as one app. Where a section below applies to only one, it says so.
| iOS | Android | |
|---|---|---|
| Signing in | Sign in with Apple | No account. No sign-in of any kind. |
| Your calendars | Read-only, with your permission | Not connected. Demonstration data only. |
| AI processing | Some features send text to a language model | None. The app makes no network requests at all. |
| On-device storage | Yes, as listed below | Yes, as listed below |
The Android build is an early release. It reads nothing, sends nothing, and has no account attached to it.
All of the following is written to your device only. None of it is uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your profile | Waking hours, targets, and what you protect — so the app can defend it |
| Moves you accepted | So a day you agreed to survives closing the app |
| Windows you declined | So we stop proposing times you have rejected |
| Your setup answers | So we don't ask again |
| Items you checked off | So a shopping list stays checked |
When you grant calendar access, D.ai.ly reads event titles, times, and which calendar each event came from, in order to build your day and detect conflicts. This includes any Google, Exchange, or iCloud account you have already added in iOS Settings.
D.ai.ly never writes to any calendar. It proposes changes to you; it does not make them. In this version there is no write path in the code at all.
Signing in with Apple gives us an account identifier and, if you allow it, an email address. We use it to keep your settings attached to you, and nothing else. We do not sell it, and there is no advertising in this app. If you use Apple's private relay address, that is all we ever see.
Some features send text to a language model — to pull structured details out of a sentence you typed, to summarise your setup, or to answer a question you asked about your week.
No language model ever decides your schedule. Every proposal the app makes is produced by deterministic code that can be inspected and reproduced.
On Android there is no in-app settings screen yet; uninstalling the app removes everything, because there is nowhere else it lives.
Open Settings › Your data › Delete everything on this device. Everything listed above is erased immediately. Your calendars are untouched. Removing the app also removes everything, because there is nowhere else it lives.
D.ai.ly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If this app ever begins storing your schedule on a server, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to agree before that happens.
